  • Monetary Loss: $36
I was rearching a site for a lawyer and it asked for my email and password but would not work. I went to technical support for Gmail and was directed to JustAnswers for help. To start the process, I was charged $5 and then charged another $31 to get the password, which they never provided. However, they did get my banking information (password protected). They are a fraud organinzation.

Neglected to provide requested service

  • Monetary Loss: $50.00
My daughter was looking for help filing her partial unemployment because of the covid-19 pandemic. The website offered legal advice for the issue with $1.00 submitted for a one week trial with $50.00 a month due if no cancellation of service. After the arrangement was made the company did not contact her during the entire 1 week trial period and proceeded to withdraw the $50.00 from her account. She did contact the company through their phone number and cancel the arrangement but refused to reimburse her $50.00 even though she told them that they did absolutely nothing to help her obtain her unemployment. They also offered no apology to her for their negligent behavior.
