I was contacted on saturday evening and was told that this is the office of the social security. Information was related to me of suspicious activity concerning my bank account relating to money laundering and drug trafficking and an arrest warrant is issued from the state of Texas, which will be excuted by the 77th precint and must provide personal information to prove that i am not involve in such activity, which i did. After notifying the 77th precint for verification of authenticity, i was told that it was indeed a scam and to contact the social security office in order to flag my number, they then refered me to the office of the inspector general.

Jan 13. I received a recorded message from the above phone number saying that my social security number had been revoked or suspended due to fraud or suspicious activity and to dial 1 if I had questions. I dialed 1 and there was no ring tone or answer. I called social security but was on hold for over 2 hours so do not know if there is an issue or not.
Phone call from a recorded individual. Stated my SS number has been frozen. I would not be able to use it. Then stated for me to contact the Social Security Administration immediately. Please let me know what has happened if anything. Thank you.
Got a phone call this morning from an officer ryan smith saying he was with law enforcement with the social security office and they were taking legal action against me if i did not call him back as soon as possible.
