Googled Amazon to get into my account . When I got to my account there was a message saying I couldn’t get into my account until I call the 888 number . Spoke to a man named Kevin he said I was hacked and I needed to purchase a google pay card for 100$ to reinstate my account. I was disconnected and he called me back from 206-627-3317. I was confused because I couldn’t get into my Account but was suspicious and hung up. Contacted Amazon customer service and was validated that it was a scam. Now I’m reporting the numbers to you. Thank you

Scammers pretended to be from Aazon.

I googled amazon and was directed to a site that said my amazon acct had been suspended and I needed to call 800 461 1956. The guy I spoke with when I called said that my acct had been suspended due to someone trying to purchase an iPhone 11 from three different places in the country at the same time. He asked me to download the "Any Desk" app and then directed me to open a new webpage. It was at this time I noticed that the site I was directed to when I google Amazon was in fact not amazon, it was listed as something else in the search bar. I hung up the call, deleted the app and logged onto the actual amazon site from a computer and changed my password.
