  • Monetary Loss: $14,000
He told me that they had renewed my contract for computer service and if I wanted to get my money back I would have to go into my computer and on my credit card he entered the amount of $499.99 and he turned it into $4,999.99. When I got my credit card statement that amount was never entered. He told me in order for them to get the $4000 I would have to buy 2 Apple Store Gift cards for $2000 each. He repeated it so that the $4999.99 was repeated twice and I owed him $10,000 and had to get Apple Store Credit Cards - 5 at $2,000.
