Advertise on My Car is a SCAM

I was offered a position displaying the decal for HDTV by advertise my car with the expectation of being reimbursed the cost of the initial decal after my weblink; set up by them, was verified with a snapshot of my decal being attached to the post. I was told that I would be reimbursed in "my online wallet" once the photo was confirmed and then, I would receive $300 for every customer sign up that followed from my "special text code" and if no sale was completed within the first 45 days, I would receive a $200 bonus for having driven and displayed the decal. They said that if my area was deemed a low volume sales region, I would still be paid. I would also receive $200 per month base pay on top of my commissions after the third month. My online wallet reflected the cost of the decal, my sign up bonus and the information that I couldn't cash out until my first sale was completed in a matter of weeks. Without warning, I was debited for 40 some-odd dollars for the never before mentioned, annual fee. I've had multiple contacts and the link goes to a dead website for everyone of them. Therefore, no one can sign up for the service that is supposed to earn my commissions. Therefore, I can't cash out ANY of my reimbursements. All contact efforts have been thwarted by a lack return phone calls, hold patterns and unreturned e-mails. The weblink now take me to a "dead Gateway". This has been such a frustration and the decal is almost impossible to remove from my car window. I may end up having to pay for professional assistance to avoid causing damage.

CarAdvertizing / Rearview Window

  • Monetary Loss: $0
Saw a Facebook ad about getting paid to drive. Put in my zip code and there were drivers needed in my area (imagine that). Watched a video with a young man describing how it works. Basically, a simple ad in my rearview window that easily installed and removed. A phone number unique for me so they can keep track of my sales. I get a commission paid through my bank or PayPal, my choice. Problem is they wanted ME to PAY them for the decal and they would reimburse me after my first sale. Next problem is that even though they'll pay me through PayPal, they wouldn't allow me to pay them through PayPal. That's when I knew, SCAM! They wanted my credit or bank card number. Glad I didn't do it. Hope you don't either!

I had to pay for a decal that goes on my car, and they tried to sell me other things for it. they said I would get that money back once i confirmed it was on my car, I never got the refund. a month later I was charged a $40 "monthly fee" to "maintain the promo code". When I tried to cancel via phone, it asked to go to the website which doesnt exist.

Signed up several months ago. Was promised incentives and never received them. I have tried several times to visit their website and they have taken it down. I now receive emails from them offering me other deals. When I go and click on the deals the link does not work.

Wow, I signed up a few months ago and same problem. You get none of the $ they promise for signing up unless you make your first sale and I haven't received any guaranteed payouts for not making any sales. I wish I had done my homework before signing up like I usually do. I'm in for a lawsuit unfortunately because they are scam artists from another country I'm sure that will never happen..........

I went as far as the phone interview. She quoted some ridiculously high commission payouts, like, seriously - how can anyone afford to guarantee $200 a month for driving a sticker on the car? At least the Facebook ad was realistic. It said that people "had earned" "up to" $300/month and were making something like a $12 commission per sale. That was feasible. Maybe one person had one really awesome month. But this chick was carrying on about a guaranteed $200 a month after the first two signups. #GirlBye

I just received an email from JobHat recommending them and so I followed the process through and called them. I have learned from being scammed so much that you never PAY to get a job. I looked up this ZAP Satellite as I worked for DIRECTV for ten years and never heard of ZAP. They are a company who provides satellite service to Portuguese speaking countries so why should anyone in the US be doing business with them? This is a total scam. Run from it.

I have heard of reputable companies that pay for this type of advertising but I doubt this is one. My guard went up when she pressed for my credit card info for the $19.99 fee to send me my car decal. I said I wanted to see a contract in writing BEFORE I would commit to anything. She said that would be impossible until I opened an account. And to open an account - you guessed it - she needed $19.99. I said no thank you. A reputable company has nothing to hide and should not deny you information in writing. Don't fall for this scam! [

I got an email about a renewal fee thats annual, but I haven't even been signed up a year. I tried calling to cancel my subscription and request a refund but they said i had to go online, but their website is down. Im in for a class action suit if one gets going.

I think you all should get together and get a class action suit in federal court. I got the red flag when she hung up after me saying o was driving and could not give her a card number right away. She quickly said call when you can con firm and hung up. I do think you all should each contact attorney general in your state. I'll do mine

im for a class action lawsuit. email me, dturskey at gmail dot com. They claimed my initial charge was $25 but I was charged a little over $30. The code they gave me to text to the number doesn't return any unique link. It returns the same generic link that the test code does. There is no way of tracking if anyone even purchases through your code. I was lied to on the phone. I was told I would get $50 for signing up and then $20 once I posted the pic with the sticker on my window. I wasn't told until after payment for the sticker that I couldn't withdraw the money untl after the first sale. which will never happen because my code doesn't return a unique link. This is completely a scam.

The best thing to do is get a hold of Dish Network and see if this is really something they are affliated with.

I fell for the crap too. I only lost $35. I was told I would get a $100 gift card at the very minimum if I don't sell anything right away. I was told after a year pay again to renew or whatever. We will see if I get a "gift card" I have 9500 "points" which are useless. I'm in for a class action lawsuit if I don't get the promised gift card.
