I found a pickup on the El Paso Tx craigslist and was instructed to go to Amazon to pay for it and to get it shipped to me. when I responded to the posting by Cristina Smith. She told me that I would be contacted by Amazon and shortly I received a reply by what I believe to be Amazon everything looked just like Amazon so they had me send half of the cost of the truck and it would be shipped . Then I received an email from Amazon telling me that I had to send $2000.00 to insure the truck so it could be shipped that when I knew that I was being scammed.

I was almost scammed by a lady trying to sell me a 2010 Toyota Tundra for $2000. I didn't catch it till we had to go through amazon and then we called the amazon and she was wanting us to do a walmart2walmart money transfer. So after we were told that we called Amazon customer service and they told us that they didn't go through Walmart (That was a dead give away). So please do something about this problem before she scams someone.

Someone claiming to be called Gloria Brown

I saw an Ad for a 2000 Dutchman Travel Trailer. I emailed the person & told them I was interested in buying it, the person told me they were in Olden, Oregon and & she was selling this trailer because her husband passed away and she had no use for it anymore, she said she could ship the trailer to me through Amazon so we both could be protected, they also advise me that Amazon will give me 100% refund if something went wrong. She then told me that she already have an account set up through Amazon because a person from my state was trying to get a loan for it and if I was trying to get a loan don't bother. I then told her I had cash & she said all I needed to do was to purchase FOUR 500.00 Amazon Gift card totally 2,000 and I would have 5 days to inspect the trailer. She sent me a Fake Amazon invoice with instructions on what phone number to call once I bought the gift cards. I did it and was scammed. I did file a Police report.
