I was scammed by this online backerpoint
This company reached out to me to provide marketing services. But it has been about a week and I get the same response. Is that they are gathering data for marketing. I paid $999 in the Hope's that my kickstarter campaign would turn around. But I wasted that and it's really disheartening.

Took my money then threatened to dox me.
Was emailed by “Gregg” during an indiegogo campaign, to help promote it. I chased for a report once when it became very apparent this was a scam. I then filed a complaint via PayPal at which point they started threatening me via email. Finishing up in the photo attached.

Crowdfunding Promo Scam
I was contacted by a Gregg Bates via email with a message promising to promote my Indiegogo campaign for a fee.
The website in the email is caller backerpoint.com. I paid and absolutely nothing was done after a 2 week period. I asked for a refund and he said the refund would be processed in a few weeks. He disappeared and would not answer anymore emails.
