On the news 3days ago. .they said people call you and ask can you hear me...if you say yes. ..they make it sound like you agree to buy something.they called me...but i kept saying hello...and they kept saying can you hear me...which sounded like a recording...the #941-363-6268

A caller by voice mail indicates they're from the warranty department, does not mention any company by name, and then asks:
"Can you hear me now?" It's been publicized that this is a scam call to get you to respond "yes" which gives the scammer the ability to sign me up for products or services I haven't ordered. This group has called me repeatedly and it's quite bothersome.

Received two times someone calling from the above number saying he is from some local health company and asking me if I can hear him. This hoot scam is the same as published by TV of scamers wanting to capture you yes voice trace to then bill your bank for crap you never ordered or requested.
