I received a recorded call 2/13/17 with the voice claiming they were the warranty department (did not name a business). They asked "can you hear me ok"? I hung up as I have hard of that being a new scam to be aware of.

Can you hear me scam

A call came from 1-515-203-3733 after 5 pm 02/15/2016 a travel company a young lady said she was wanting to tell me about a great deal and asked if i could hear her and i said yes then it was disconnected.
We received a call on 2/17/17 at 2:30 pm after answering was asked can you hear me? My husband answered yes then no further communications. Later after learning of this i called the number and heard nothing but music. Called the same number next day and heard nothing no dial tone or music, just dead air.
