I sent 20.00 to my grandson...
But on the same day, a "pending" amount for $201.00 was also showing for a Myles Maddox. I don't know this person!
I immediately called my bank and was told they could not stop the transaction for $201.00. So I filed a dispute, hoping I will get my money back. Also filed and reported to Cash App as well.
'Cash App is a Scam' with people or employees who will take your money. That's my thought, especially from the complaints from other customers. I deleted my bank info, block my pin and other info in the cash app. Hoping this will stop any other fraudulent withdrawals.
Once I recoup my money (if I do) I'm definitely not using Cash App anymore!!!!!
DO NOT USE CASH APP!!!!

Monetary Loss: $1386
Me and my babies received a direct deposit from social security in to our account I tired to change my pin the guy mark call saying he works for cash app next thing I know we wipes out my whole account and took me and my babies money now the real cash app support can't find my account I just want our money back to pay our bills.
250.00 was transferred from my checking account via Cash App. I don't use Cash App and have never used Cash App. Contacted my bank and they are investigating and recommended that I contact Cash App to see if they could provide details on the transaction. There is no way to contact Cash App if you are not a customer. In addition, it appears that even if you are a customer, you have to submit a request to customer care and hope someone contacts you back. I have no idea how the feds can let a financial institution operate like this.
A man messaged me telling me I was the grand winner of the day who is able to receive money as a prize for fans. He then insisted to pay me through cashapp where he would place the payments. He insisted that if I log out of my account he will be able to get in using PIN number and place my prize money there. After he said he would start the process he never got in touch with me and he removed my information from my account thus I no longer had a form to access it through email or phone number. He then blocked me and never got back to me and now my money is gone.
I received a message from Cash App on April 22nd stating that my Cash App had a negative balance. When I went into the Cash App on my phone, not only was my $209 was gone, but also showed a -$345.46. I sent numerous emails and finally some returned an email stating it was from Independence of the Seas. Royal Caribbean checked their regards and it was not them. Cash App has not resolved my issue as of today, May4th. I have removed my bank and picture and am hoping to have this issue resolved.
