Seller and I contacted through Craigslist about a purchase of a metal shed. Seller is in Ga I’m in SC. He said he could deliver and set up for $300 the item was $500. Total was $800. He asked for my number so we could discuss and he called and we discussed further. He asked if I could send a deposit of half and if we could do it with zelle so that it could be an easy trail. I agreed. Asked for the address to bring and deliver it. Said it would deliver on Friday June 26. Would call when they were 30 min away. Never received a call Friday. I text and asked for an update. They finally sent one around 5pm Friday and said they thought it had already delivered. They would check on it and let me know. I haven’t heard anymore from them.

Listed on Craigslist for $1200 first her so called son contacted me with her email addy. Then when I responded she told me her Husband passed away couple month ago. And she moved to Omaha Nebraska. She could use no more do to the sad memories. I have all the texts and emails.
Tuesday June 23rd. , I replied to an add on craigslist, Listed in the Asheville NC listing. The add was for a 21 x 24 free standing used carport. I foolishly sent Ben Locke $500 for payment, by Zelle ( at his request ) and against my intelligence. After a few short replies the responses stopped. He lied and scheduled delivery twice, yet no show, and no responses in a week. Guess Im out my cash and the only option I thought of was to Flag his add. So far it hasnt popped up again. I have his emails which I choose to keep as a reminder to Never deal with the liar again. AKA Ben Locke, Karma is a dish headed directly for You hopefully with deep Vengence !
I advertised a leather chair on Craigslist and was contacted by this person. She wanted to buy the chair via cashier's check, so like a fool I sent her my name, address, and mobile phone number. Since the email was obviously written by a non-native English speaker, I should have just blown off the offer. In any event, she keeps sending me emails telling me that when I receive the check I should cash it and forward money to some shipper who will come to my home to pick up the chair. After the second email, I replied that I wasn't interested in pursuing the sale with her, and she's been harassing me ever since including threatening me for stealing her hard earned money even though no money has changed hands, and threatening legal action via the FBI, CIA, and other law enforcement agencies. I don't intend to involve myself in any further correspondence, but just a warning to anyone else, if you receive any correspondence from this person or this phone number, ignore them and go with your gut that if the correspondence is written in barely legible English, it's a scam.
