Facebook Romance Scammer Alexander James Geoffrey

Contacted by this man obviously using someone's picture. He claimed to be from California , Ontario and confirmed it as the capital of California and even confirmed it was midnight there when it was actually 3 O clock in the morning. Claims to be a widower. I did not lose any money this time. Claimed to have a 15 year old son going to school in the UK. I offered to send him money though he didn't agree to accept it, which told me that this scammer is most likely the same guy that already scammed me. It seems that many of the scammers have names similar three names all being first names or names that would be hard to locate because of the oddity of them.

James Riley - Dating scam stole money

  • Monetary Loss: $70,000
I met James Riley on Ourtime internet dating site in June 0f 2015. He manipulated $70,000 from me that was promised to be a loan never paid back. He was in South Africa working as an engineer. He now says he is in the hospital in Lagos, Nigeria. His financial advisor, Frederick Samuels, at 530-763-3766, [email protected], is very involved in James Riley's scam. He is supposedly in Marysville, Ca 95901.
Now James Riley is linked with multiple scam activities in different areas of the US. I have names and phone numbers of others involved. The latest was from Mathew Shook, Global Insurance, 7651 W 41st Avenue #104, Wheat Ridge, Co 80033, sending me 10 $933 money orders that were fake and the post office said was a scam. This was supposedly to hire me for a work from home mailing job. The person that James Riley connected me with for that job was Brian Cambridge, 856-425-0833, Collingswood, New Jersey 08108. His voice also sounds Nigerian. Also, Erin Glade in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was suppose to be Frederick Samuels secretary. James Riley said he knew her. She has made multiple attempts to charge on my credit cards, one for $4500 to the Apple store on my Discover card and at one point asked Discover Card to send a card to her home. Today I got invoices in the mail from Bradford Exchange checks where Erin Glade attempted to charge four orders on my Compass Visa card. The checks were printed with
Green Guard Home Owners Association
214 Ripons Street SW
Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52404
319-540-8774
I called that number and the person claiming to be Erin Glade sounded like a Nigerian man. She said her boyfriend Jake Sebastian was friends with James Riley.
So far none of her/his attempts have gone through. I called the phone number for her/him and it sounds like a Nigerian man.
The common thread in all of these scams is James Riley
