eBay is a scam company. Nobody knows due to the fact that sellers cannot post negative feedback. Scum eBay removes it.
This company is run by thieves and crooks. The members are employees that scam and rob sellers.

I have been scammed by Tiffany Walkott

Yesterday(01/29/16) I looking for used pickup for my business on craiglist.com (Milwaukee) and found 2003 Shevrolet Silverado 2500 HD with under 100k miles and listed only for $2000. I try to contact to seller by phone 402-939-7784 and left a message to call me back to scheduled test drive. Today (01/30/16) at 11:29am I received text message: " I have posted the Chevrolet for my mother, you can get in contact with her by email: [email protected] ..." I shout email with my interest to by the truck and ask for appointment and location of the truck. In few hours later I received email :
Hi there,
My name is Tiffany Walkott, thank you for your interest in buying my vehicle. My 2003 Chevrolet Silverado has 98,847, original miles, automatic transmission. It is in perfect condition, no need for additional repairs,no scratches, dings, rust, special marks whatsoever. The interior looks great. It runs like new and all services are up to date. Also, I need to mention that it was never involved in any accidents. The price is $2,000 (non-negotiable). This belonged to my husband and after he passed away i decided to sell it. I have another vehicle so I'm trying to sell it as soon as possible, my name is on the title. I moved at my daughter because I had a throat surgery and i will remain here for few months at least. I'm located in Omaha, NE and i took the vehicle with me. I gave it to eBay Motors who will deliver it to the next owner. The transaction will be made through them for our own safety because I can't deal in person. The best part about this is that you'll get 5 days for inspection for free with no further obligation or fees.

If you're interested in purchasing it just email me your full name, full address and phone # so that I can initiate the deal through eBay Motors and they will contact you to explain the procedure."

I replay with my info. Her answer:
XXXX,
This is excellent news! You will see these guys are great! So I will have eBay to send you the invoice, and you will receive it by e-mail, all the instructions and details about your safety and about the sale altogether. After you receive the invoice, you will have to pay through eBay, as they will hold, protect and guarantee your money until you get the truck. You will try it out for 5 days, and if at the end you are happy with it, you can give them the "green" to release the money to me. Or if not, you can just send it back and get a refund, without paying for the shipping.
And later I received email from "eBay" with invoice:

eBay Buyer Protection - 08700604596

eBay Purchase Protection Service

Later I didn't completely understand how I can submit eBay gift card, so I called the number on invoice (customer Service) 1-866-390-6441 and person on the other end say's : "After I purchased eBay gift cards I have to call back and give her the number on the scratchable line and wait for confirmation and delivery up to 3 days." I asc how much cost for delivery and she replay: it pays by owner." That's make me wondering.. This is great truck should cost much more plus fees and delivery from Nebraska to Wisconsin. So before purchase the Gift Cards I decide to go official eBay website and contact with eBay customer service to see if they have any knowledge of that deal/invoice or owner or truck itself. This time I find out, Tiffany Walkott not in the registry list and order ID# not exist and it have only 11 numbers instead of 13. so, now I understand - this is scam. While I printed this report I received another email from "Tiffany" scam artist with the question, if I received the invoice from eBay. Now I'm worry about : she/they have my name, address, phone#, email...., so what happen next? I hope you catch these scammers ASAP

I wanted to purchase a car from this person, and they sent me a message about the car, and pics and said that they were selling it because a loved one had passed. But after I asked to see it face to face they talked about having it shipped through eBay and I called ebay and they said it was a scam.
