Searching for a new car and got an email from a Brenda with a really nice car for way to cheap of a price so it made me wonder about it and I ended up searching all day and I found sources leading to the same thing mitary women with diseased husbands car and can't afford to have it stored whole shipped off l

The car was a Toyota camry 2007 only asking a couple grand. Thought to good to be true.

This buyer bought from me Vi Salus mix ins product on Ebay on 26/January, then she claimed that it is expired, which I originally bought it myself from Ebay sellers too not longtime ago as expired item too, she opened a claim with Ebay to refund her money back and that she will return the item back to me, I refunded her the full amount with good intention, but she got her money back and took the item too refusing to send the item back to me which I purchased for her couple times prepaid shipping labels through Ebay, I have this hassle and stress since the 2nd of February from this Abuser and Scammer without any result to my advantage, Ebay didn't protected me from this scammer or advised me how to avoid getting scammed by one if their members specially this is the first time for me to go though this situation with Ebay, all of Ebay messages to me was just I have 5 days to close this claim and pay the money back to the buyer.
I feel victimized by the whole situation, causing my stress, depression and sickness, with a lack if equality from Ebay, I don't know what is the next step I should take legally because I'am very sick and tired of the whole situation dealing with a scammer and I think Ebay should step in and get my money back from, or getting me back my item that she took with no right at all, and do not letting any of their sellers go through all of this situation period, because we are the ones who pay them money on Ebay Site sales as sellers, and we should not be abused like this by their crook members.

Fake Sale of a John Deere tractor

I've been in email contact only with this supposed Emma Cromer of Omaha, NE who is attempting to sell a 1987 John Deere 2955 for the sale price of $5000. I called her number twice with no return call, just email. I gave my billing information and ebay sent me an invoice wanting me to send half the money thru Moneygram and said I would receive the item within 3 days and would have a 5 day inspection period. There was a supposed Support Dept. number to call so I did. I was given an individual to talk to that could barely speak English and I could tell he was reading from a script to answer my questions. He never managed to give me a straight answer, only that the item was stored in ebay's storage facility in Omaha, NE. I then decided to retrieve a real number from ebay's website and after reaching a real person they informed me eBay does not use Moneygram for transfers and that they advised not to go any further with the transaction.

Got eBay gift cards to give to eBay for payment of item. Then was told more was needed for insuring shipment. I then felt it was a scam and checked balances of cards and they were empty.

Purchased a motorcycle off a website i thought was ebay she told me $2000 then later told me i needed insurance another $500 the bike never showed up. So i called ebay and no record off it.i used a prepaid card which i found out that she spent it all on amazon.

The camper is already at the eBay in Billings along with all the paperwork and the transaction will be done through them. eBay will handle the shipping, the payment, and the paper exchange. The camper is ready to be delivered to your place. You will have free shipping and 5 days to test-drive and inspect the camper before I receive any money. If you are really interested in buying my camper, please reply with your full name, a delivery address and a phone #. I will forward this info to eBay and they will contact you with all the info on how to buy it. Thank You ! I was then sent info (supposedly from ebay motors) with instructions on sending ebay cards.

Message: BEWARE!! IF IT'S TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE..IT PROBABLY IS!!! Found a car on Facebook Marketplace. 2009 Honda Civic low mileage only $1200. When I contacted the seller a man replied that the car was actually his sisters and to email her at, sarahwilson441@gmail.com. So, I emailed a Sarah Wilson. She claimed her only son of 26yrs had passed away in a bike accident a few months back and it was just to painful to hold on to, so she wanted to sell. So, I was instructed to send my info, name, address, & phone # and she would forward it to ebay. At this point I knew something wasn't right. Too much this and that. I buy from ebay ALL the time. I searched for the car on ebay and it wasn't there. And I know you don't get contacted from the seller. Well little did I know my cousin found a 2014 Nissan Maxima for $2,000 same scenario and my boyfriend saw the Honda aswell and had sent them his info. My cousin to. All of the vehicles were in Billings MT. And they were instructed to purchase ebay or Best Buy gift cards. 6 cards $200 each. The cars were in MT and her & her husband travel a lot for work but ebay had the cars and they will deliver to my driveway. So, thankfully we all communicated and knew. Ebay NEVER tells you, you can only purchase something with eBay or Best Buy gift cards. Why would ebay want Best Buy gift cards?? They opened a ebay account under my boyfriend's name. They had a professional looking email even instructing you to call them. (818) 921-4841 the man that answered had what sounded like a Indian accent and he assures you this is no scam and they all have college educations. They?? I asked for a supervisor and of course he was not there. So I replied to the email explaining so very nicely(lol) that the jig was up and I've notified anyone and everyone that I could. They even told my boyfriend he could pay half now and the other half the following week. I live in Indiana and my cousin is in Arkansas and she also found the car on Facebook Marketplace so they are everywhere! Make sure you read company policies and such so you can avoid getting taken advantage of. My boyfriend really believed it and was ready to send them money. They were that convincing and email looks legit to someone who hasn't purchased through eBay before. Thankfully I do a lot of online shopping lol so I knew it wasn't right. It's just disgusting and sad that people can put all that effort and work into stealing others hard earned money and we're in a epidemic! Please pay attention, if something doesn't feel right then research it. There are some videos about this same thing same people on YouTube. Ask questions, make phone calls whatever you have to. These people need to be stopped. Help spread the word, they've gotten to many people. They aren't getting my hard earned money! Be safe all, best of luck.

Apparently, the seller's husband passed away and she is now selling an adorable airstream for a "too good to be true" price. This was her last email to me.... She asked me to email her for more photos at Linda1978Anderson@gmail.com. But she replied to me from She replied to me from linda_anderson04@comcast.net. Beware of both... Her first email to me included photos of the airstream and a story about how her husband just died of a heart attack and she moved home... Ofcourse, I loved the photos... so I responded that I would buy the airstream... I started to feel like this was "too good to be true" so I did a little digging to find out if she was a scammer... Thanks to you all, I didn't have to dig too farm... It wasn't soon after that that I received this reply. "Hi again, Thank you for your reply. As I explained in my previous email I was accepted for a new job and I moved to my hometown Minneapolis, MN. I am a regular eBay user and now with this new virus situation I decided to use their services. You will have to pay eBay and they won't give me any money until you receive and test the vehicle for 5 days. The vehicle is at the shipping company, ready to be delivered. We also benefit from free shipping, it will be delivered to your address within 3 days and you have a 5 days inspection period to test and inspect it. Please provide me your information (name, address and phone#) so I can register you as the buyer and after that eBay will send you an email with the terms and conditions, with no obligation on buying it and also they will confirm the fact that the transaction is conducted through them. Waiting for your email with the requested details. Thank you." Thanks for reporting the scam... You saved me some cash... :)

The title is clear and has my name printed as the owner. It is a 4 stroke so there is no oil/gas mixing. It has a fresh oil change with filter and new plugs. It is a larger 3 person jetski that great for cruising down the lake, can pull skis, tubes, kneeboards etc. Starts right up. It has all the bells and whistles - Direction/water temp/mph/avg mph/rpm. It has 174 hours and has some minor bumps and bruises from use. It also has a boarding step in the back so you can get on the jetski easily. It comes with a weather cover to protect it from the elements when it is being stored. It has a clean system and deletes the US title in my name and there are no credits or loans on it. Message: This is very disturbing!!! Everything you just said I went through the SAME THING, same email from her & all. I seen it on FB market & immediately when I went back to check it. It was taken down, I had a gut feeling something wasn’t right. Few days later I reached back out to see if my gut feeling was wrong. So as we talked through emails, I started believing her. I was very close to send $. Up until I told my boyfriend everything, and he googled her email address and phone number. First he called, a guy answered he didn’t really buy it, then he googled the information and seen many people have been scammed by this lady “Sarah Wilson”

Message: I was trying to buy a John Deere Gator. The price was almost too good to be true. So, when the scammer, “Patricia Burris who is on a AFB in Cheyenne, Wyoming” sent me the eBay Motors invoice I signed into to my account to check to see if I had an invoice to pay. There was no invoice, so I talked with a customer service person and had given him the invoice number, phone number provided, etc. Just as I thought, he confirmed it was a scam! Always check with eNay before paying an eBay Motors invoice before submitting any kind of money.

Told me a story about being in the Army and deploying soon. Luckily I found this site warning about same scenario. Thankful I didn’t send money.

Message: I saw the same advertisement on FP Marketplace and contacted Christine. Same story, but something didn't sit well with me. I emailed twice, but shipping me the bike after payment and having the option to return it doesn't make any sense. Thankfully, my daughter told me to look up the email address online to check it being a scam! And I found all of this.
