I have been scammed by EM General for N95 face masks
Mar 3, 2020
Monetary Loss: $41.24
Ordered two N95 face masks. Never received shipping info. Emailed twice to inquire. No response. Phone number had machine one time directing me to email. All other phone calls the line just goes from a ring to a busy signal as though it has been disconnected. My card was charged immediately for both purchases. Company bio says based in California, NOT TRUE! Bios are NOT written by native English speakers. There is an identical website/company out of India by another name. Can no longer find it.
Ordered masks that stated in stock. Saw money was pulled out of acct. , never got shipping updates, tried calling customer service answering machine directed me to email...after submitting multiple email requests no reply. Tried chat and everytime after a few minutes popup saying busy please leave a message. They don't respond. Once you get to position of 2 left in queue it disconnects
Their website offers n95 masks. They took my money but never shipped it. Weeks later they sent an email pretending that they are trying to get some. It turns out to be a simple scam. Their about page shows 4 "staff" but using Waybackmachine.com, I found a previous version of the same About page from July 2019 that used a different name for the CEO. I am trying to trace their merchant services account.
I found their site online, (March 1, 2020) claiming they have N95 masks available. I work in a hospital and needed to buy my own so as not to stretch resources. I have not received them. It's now March 17, 2020. I emailed asking for a refund and was replied to by Dennis Rivera, that they could not give me a refund due to using the money to buy the supplies purchased from a company in Turkey. I was then given a time frame for delivery and still have not received the product I paid for.
