Golden-Doodle Breeder scam

  • Monetary Loss: $500.00
I reached out to Richard about a puppy he had for sale. Everything seemed legit but he didn’t want to contact us through a phone call but would only contact us through email. He told us the total was 900 dollars and he would fly the puppy the next day. We had sent him 500 dollars through zelle (By his request) and was waiting to send him the rest because zelle only let us send 500 dollars a day. He asked us to trust his word but we wanted to see videos or call him. He claimed he had an ear infection of sorts and that was the reason he couldn’t talk on the phone. In the end he said he spent the money on a crate and we would have to wait 2 weeks for a refund.

We went on Emily-Doodles.com website and found puppies that we were interested in adopting. After many emails, they said we would have to pay by cashapp. I was not comfortable with that and asked about another method of payment. Eventually, we found reports that this was a scam from others as we had concerns due to some of our email interactions with them. We sent an email saying that we were going to pass on the puppies because we determined that they are a scam. We received an email response. "It's your entire family that are all scammers. Thanks for providing your information. I will be visiting you soon." We have all emails sent and received.

My daughter purchased a Goldendoodle, “Cindy”, from this website. Paid extra for shipping. Of course she never received a puppy. It is a total scam website. 24 hours later, I got on the website acting like I wanted to purchase “Cindy” and they said she was available for purchase! Horrible humans. They told her the puppy was coming from Minnesota. They told me the puppy was coming from California.

Puppy scammers

We went to Emily Doodles website to purchase the puppy Leroy for $500. She went by the name of ‘Alyssa Chandler’ and used the email ‘[email protected]‘. She said they lives in Minnesota and they could fly the dog to our house using an animal shipping company named ‘Transit Logistic Group’. There were extra charges to ship the dog and documents needed which brought the total to $900. Alyssa asked my to pay through CashApp.
When I got the email from the shipping company, they asked for a $2000 refundable deposit for the puppy. They also asked to be paid by CashApp and not through the website. The website didn’t look legit and I started to get very suspicious. I did more research and tried to call them with no answer or verification it was a real site. I emailed Alyssa and asked to cancel the shipment and get our money back.
I haven’t heard anything since. I’ve sent multiple emails and asked for a refund through CashApp and received nothing back.
