Received a text offering a job for an assistant $300 to $1,000 a week. Upon investigation I find this is a scam and if you apply you received the job then you are asked to give your bank account for direct deposit . They send a bogus check to you for their supplies and your pay. N ct they empty your bank account.

Text message r/e employment

I received a text message, from a Mr. Rob Miller, claiming to be representing the firm "SAP Ariba". It stated that they were reviewing my resume and that I was selected for an online interview with a Mr. Scott Russell. If I wished to be interviewed, I should reply "yes" to the text.
I did not recall applying for any position with this firm, so I decided to look into this. On this firms website, there is a post, warning to be aware of fraudulent employment offers being made on behalf of their firm. They further stated that any legitimate correspondence from SAP would be emailed, and that the email address would end with their company's prefix.
Based on this, I determined that this text was a fake employment offer. I have not responded to it.

Company is not hiring/listing jobs currently on Indeed

The same thing as many others have mentioned happened to me. In short, I applied for a position on Indeed, then was text messaged to email Kimberly Hallberg from "HR" to set up an interview on Friday. I did so, but never heard back about the interview, and then was messaged on the following Monday that the position had been filled. However, she mentioned a Senior Program Manager who needed assistance because he was moving from Chicago to Alabama with his wife and two kids and she asked if it was okay to forward the information to him. I said yes, and then was contacted by a "John Antel," who claimed to have 20+ years of experience in an unrelated field, but had no online presence at all. I called Medical Place in Montgomery, Alabama and found that no one by either of the names I mentioned worked there, and they were not even hiring for that position.
