I have been scammed by Walters Hanson age 57
Jan 5, 2016
Monetary Loss: $35,000
I friended them for a while before they wanted a laptop, so I sent some money for that. Then, after they got to know me, they started asking for funds for different things and even had me wire so it couldn't be traced. The last money they wanted funds to pay insurance to ship ammunition, so I only sent $2,000. When I came home, I had been totally blocked via phone, and email. So that ended that. Then they move on to another site somewhere and just keep scamming. Right now, they are supposedly in the Army in Ghana. They say their diplomat is Jamar Salifu.
Internet Attempt to Defraud, using identity of friend

Monetary Loss: $0
Received a Facebook friend request from a friend in Florida. Since we already are friends, I thought this was a bit strange. Then a Message from her via Messenger, inquiring as to my wellbeing. She asked if I had heard the good news about how she had won $65,000.00 on a Facebook Christmas/New Year's lottery. Encouraged me to send a text message to her agent to find out whether I was also a winner. Amazingly enough, I was. I would have to pay a delivery fee to collect my money within 8 hours. The delivery fee was $1,000.00 for $65,000.00 and up to $10,000.00 for $1-million. I was told to send my delivery fee via Western Union to Barbara Marlowe in Clarksville, Arkansas. I wrote back that I was on my way to a dinner party and wouldn't be able to send the money until today. I have all the information on my phone and could send it to you.
Richard uses facebook to get people to pay him hundreds of dollars telling them he will help them make more money. also tells people if they don't have money to start with he can use their facebook to advertise off of and inbox people and ask them if they want to make money today.but only intentions are to take people's money.
Contacted by a friend on Facebook regarding seeing my name on a winners list. The friend said that she won 300,000 and saw my name on the winners list and did I get my money yet. She gave me the contact name. Messenger this person. Went back-and-forth with messages that my name was on the list and I would receive the money after sending $1500.
