I have been scammed into giving my information to a company in Washington DC that I have never heard of. They told me I have a government grant in my name. They called me from private and the woman had a very thick accent, I could barely understand her. Not exactly sure what is going to happen with my info.

I have been scammed by John Smith

I was on facebook last night and an individual that I worked with friended me. So I accepted the friend request. He started to tell me about this government grant for money. Of course I believed him as we had worked together for years. I sent the 800.00 for $50,000 grant last night through money gram. I think there was a $50.00 fee to send it - I can't get into my Moneygram account to verify. I am so mad for not seeing this upfront. Today again I heard from the individual on Facebook and he was asking if I got my money yet and then I hear from the John Smith through my email. Then tonight I saw on facebook that Pete Macconi posted that his facebook was hacked and to unfriend the other person. I quickly checked and he was right. I notified facebook and reported the individual as a scammer. I then unfriended him and failed to save the conversation first. I have copied and pasted the emails into pdf files with all the information to include other names. I still have all the emails saved in my email folder if you need more information.
