Monetary Loss: $0
I in the process of ordering for two French bulldogs pups but got suspicious when individual told me how I could pay the ($1000). He stated for me to go to any walgreens, cvs or Wal-Mart and get two visa cards at $500 each. Once I did that I was instructed to send him photos of the front and back. I thought this was very weird so communicated back to him that I had changed my mind and he was not to bother calling me back. He then communicated that why would he bother calling me back as I had changed my mind.
Bought a French bulldog puppy on line. Sent money for puppy and shipping. Next day received an E-mail from Rocket Pet Delivery, requiring an additional $980 for travel insurance for the puppy. Suspected fraud. Contacted seller and stated this charge was not part of the business transaction. Seller said that insurance was for our account. We requested seller to ship puppy at his expense via another delivery method or refund our money. We have not heard from seller again.
