I had unclaimed money and find out the total was around $4,230. I'd been waiting for some months now and I'm willing to sue this company because I never received my money.

  • Monetary Loss: $48.00
Had an account with Golookup for a few days . The trial membership was 1.00 and if you didn't want to pay monthly, call and cancel subscription before the five days are up. I called and cancelled just to find that they charged me 48.00 and took it from my checking account. Mind you, I cancelled this membership way before the deadline. How do I get my money back?

Golookup/alertslookup SCAMMED me

I'm so angry right now!! Paid $1.00 for one report. Got error message immediately after. Messaged with someone from cust. serv. He wanted my bank card number to figure out what happened. I told him "No. That information is NOT necessary for finding out what happened." I told him this is a scam and left the site. Woke up this a.m. to email from my bank telling me I'm overdrawn by $44.22!! This transaction was NOT authorized by me! They get you when you click on their site from another site. It causes you to enter what you think is a legitimate site asking for the name and state of the person you're looking up; so naturally you enter the information, and nothing comes up. I called their customer service number which is the number to 'golookup.' Apparently, these two sites (golookup and alertslookup) are one and the same. I want my money back and do not want a continuous monthly withdrawal from my bank account. I will be calling my bank and let them know NOT to authorize any more transactions from either of these sites. I figured I'd eat the dollar I paid them, but I'm not about to eat $45.00 each month! This is a SCAM, and I told them so. Unfortunately they don't care.
