Job Offer Scam Reappearing With New Name

After applying for a posting on CareerBuilder, I was contacted by one, Brenda Lee, with her expressing interest in my resume along with a brief rundown of their company and the position offered. After confirming I too was interested, I was sent an email with a separate company application that was fairly nondescript and did not request any outlandish information.
A few days later they called me to offer the job officially saying the next steps were to send photos of my proof of citizenship (passport), myself with the passport, and a scan of the signed employment agreement that was attached to an email.
Once I began this process, I realized I needed clarification from something in the email and tried to call the listed number under the HR person's email signature (Brenda Lee). The number immediately went to "This is not a working number". Confused, I started to dig more into their website and look for anything strange. After some reverse image searching of people supposedly on "their team" I came across the images of these people on multiple other sites. As well as much of their "portfolio" was ripped from other sources too.
When I called back the original number I was called from and got a hold of Brenda, I asked for any more information on their company. All she gave me was their website link and the first few lines from one of the original emails sent to me about the job position, word for word the same.
Finally after finding their Business Certificates page on their own website (keep in mind this company claims to be an international media marketing company with their home base in Hong Kong), I came across their Hong Kong Business Incorporation Articles from a couple years ago that was under the names "Bright Media LTD" and "Bright Media Allies". While the original search for LIght Media LTD, what they go by now, brought up nothing, searching for bright media ltd brought up a few scam warnings from different places including some stories matching up to my own on this website, reportscam.
It seems like after they "hire" you, they will have a "customer" "accidentally" deposit their payment for the companies services into your bank account rather than to the company and the company will request you send it to them. These charges WILL come up as fraudulent and can devastate the victim. An apparent variation on the typical Vanilla Fake Cheque scam. Fortunately I was able to find the scam reports before I got that far, but job hunters beware.
LIGHT MEDIA LTS, AND LIGHT MEDIA ALLIES ARE NOT A LEGITIMATE COMPANY AND ARE NOT LOOKING TO HIRE, BUT RATHER TO SCAM.
