They had an ad on Facebook. Seemed legitimate in so much that the "Business Model" was pretty sound, to me, and I've had experience with scammers and con artists before and though I thought the "countdown for available positions" was a pretty obvious sign that it was a fake. It still got me. They haven't replied, I've tried contacting them and it seems like now they have all my credit card info. :/ Please help

Scammed on Facebook

Monetary Loss: $34.00
Applied to a video for work at home writing for companies. Purchased for $34.00 with 60 day money back guarantee. Cannot get a hold of anyone and asked for a refund.
I saw an ad on Facebook for a writing job. Watched a very nice video of their program. I was enticed to join at a cost of $34 to my Debit/Visa card as it also states there is a no questions asked full refund if not satisfied within 60 days. When it allowed me into the site it was just glorified job leads for writing jobs. It also states there that I have joined a lifetime membership program to receive the leads. It never mentions that in the video, on the web, or on their Facebook page. I immediately knew this wasn't for me and I knew I would not be an asset to their program. I was positively hopeful that I wasn't being scammed, but I emailed them within 24 hours requesting my refund along with why I chose not to be part of the program. It has now been 7 days and still no refund, email or phone contact to me by them. I have tried the phone number and also have done research to find the phone number is a mobile account. This is suppose to be a business. Upon checking with 411.com I found many other people have reported this same "company" and have also been scammed out of $34.
I saw a post on Facebook about master writing jobs. I am a writer and have been looking for a compacompany similar to UpWorks that focuses specifically on writing jobs. The intro video for the website made it seem like it was going to be just like upworks (there is no other preview of the website). They are falsely advertising what their company does. In their terms and conditions, they say that the $34 membership fee will be refunded within 60 days if you are unhappy with the website. I asked for a refund within 2 hours of seeing the website. No reply. I have sent numerous emails now (4 to be exact) with the details they wanted: name, email, date of membership purchase. I have heard nothing and received no refund. https://www.masterwritingjobs.com/terms
ONLINE WRITING JOBS SCAM. I saw an ad on Facebook and thought it was trustworthy. It supposedly offered the opportunity to do what I like to do, WRITE. I have not been able to contact anyone for a refund! The ad says there is no experience required, newbies can do it, THAT'S ALSO A LIE/SCAM!! Please help everyone, including myself, to get our money back. I watched the video and thought it was genuine! Boy was I WRONG!
I was scrolling through Facebook and I opened a posting for writing jobs. It was a great marketing piece that lasted about 10 minutes. I'm looking for work that I can do from home and it said no experience necessary. I gave my credit card information and paid the $34 for the membership. Immediately, I realized all the jobs listed required college degrees or experience neither of which I have. I immediately called the contact number listed on the website. A recording came on saying select "0" for a representative. Within seconds, a recording came on saying no one was available and to leave a message. I've left 3 messages with no call back. I sent them an email 3 times requesting my 60 day "money back guarantee." I have not heard back from them. I now have cancelled my credit card.
