Monetary Loss: $200
I contacted Chris over spring break (4/9/19) when I saw his listing on goodly for miniature dachshund puppies. I asked for pictures and he sent me pictures that looked like he took them and asked me to pay a $200 deposit through Zelle and $175 in person when I pick up the puppy. So I payed the 200 and he said he’d be sending pics every Sunday and the puppy would come with a puppy package. He sent me pictures the next following Sunday but after that he wouldn’t respond to my text messages even to today (5/5/2019). Now Ik what to not do next time.
I sent partial payment for the Purchase of a Maine Coon kitten. The company only ever contacted me through email. They insisted on a money transfer through Zelle or Walmart. After paying half, because that’s all Zelle would allow, I got suspicious. I had someone else contact them. They tried to buy the same cat. The company agreed to the purchase. However, they said my friend couldn’t pick the cat up. They had to ship it to her. My friend was 2 hours from the location I was given , Virginia. She was told the cat was in Texas. When I contacted the seller, I told them that I would pay the other half when the cat arrived. He wouldn’t agree. I told him that he was just talking with my friend. He said he would send my money back. However, he refused to use Zelle and refund it today. He to.d. E that I have to wait and called me a liar.
This guy Tony Morrison told me if I sent him $150 in google play gift cards he would send me a female yorkie puppy. I sent one $50 gift card and one $100 gift card. He said he didn’t get the $100 and put the puppy on hold at Trans Air Cargo in Jacksonville NC. Me and him worked it out and he let them ship the puppy. She made it the Greensboro NC and I got a email from a Jimmy Owen saying she need insurance on her to be shipped the rest of the way. I sent $100 for insurance on the puppy Saturday and Jimmy said that as soon as he got the papers she would be shipped, well she was never shipped. Monday I talked to a person named Bright Meson and was told the puppy wasn’t shipped because the payment came in late and because she was sick and said I had to pay $156 to get her. Today I talked to someone different they never have me their name but they said they was going to hell me solve the problem because I told him I did what I was told to do I paid the insurance money and was told that the puppy would be shipped Saturday no matter what. He then asked if I was sent a company policy and I told him no I was not because I didn’t receive one. He then asked if I was told that they don’t ship after 3pm on Saturday I told him I was not told that. I was told she would be shipped no matter what Saturday. He then asked if I knew she was sick and I told him no I didn’t know anything, no one told me anything and when I talked to Jimmy Saturday he never said she was sick or couldn’t be shipped after 3pm. The guy I talked to today said if I wanted the dog I had to pay $176 to get her even tho they lied to me at the delivery place and no one would give me the address to where the dog was. So I get a message later saying the sender Tony Morrison wants me to put the puppy back in his name so they can send the puppy back to him but I put the insurance on her to have her shipped ($100) and paid him $150 for her so I said no she is in my name. Well they changed it anyways and is letting him get the dog back without paying and no one will refund me my money I spent. I don’t understand how they can do this and me not get the puppy or the $250 back.
I put a deposit down on a puppy after receiving pictures a videos of the puppy. He told me I was called to set up transportation. A contract was signed and I paid the rest of the money. Once I heard from travel company they started asking for more money all to be sent to the seller. All the money was sent by Zelle.
