SCAM FOR PUPPY

  • Monetary Loss: $600
My little sister had been wanting a puppy for as long as I can remember and we finally found a small shih tzu that was perfect for her, we decided on Lisa. I sent a message to Morgan and said we were interested and in a few hours she responded back with some information and asked questions to see if we were a suitable home for the puppy. I answered the questions and she said we were a great fit for the puppy. She then asked if I would be choosing a home delivery for $650 or a airport pick up for $600. We chose the airport. She told me to send 2 separate transactions for the $600 so I sent $300 twice through cash app . Then she asked me to “prove” that I sent the money, which is when I started to think something was off and wrong. I have not gotten any more information but I called and put a block on my card. Hoping to go dispute my charges at the bank today.

I have been scammed by Best SchnauzersThis was a pet scam for miniature schnauzer puppies. No one would answer the phone listed would only communicate by email or text. They had different emails listed. The one for the website is different than the one used when our communicating took place. [email protected] was the email we were instructed to use to send the deposit of 350.00 to PayPal friends and family. The groomer owner was listed as Dawson Whitfield which was not the name of the person listed as receiving the payment on PayPal that name was Gary Thomson. The contact information on their website Best Schnauzer is another different email listed as [email protected] We sent a text and email to [email protected] requesting a return call because we had questions about the multiple emails needing to make sure they were credible. They told us they would meet us halfway to pick up the puppy due to covid-19 and sunce we were less than 7 hours away from where they lived supposedly in. Charlotte North Carolina. The deposit of 350.00 was to be refundable we sent an email to them stating we expected an immediate refund. when we called the number we spoke to a male that wouldnt idientify himself we again requested a prompt refund. We have not received any notification of a refund from Best Schnauzers through email or phI have been scammed by Best SchnauzersThis was a pet scam for miniature schnauzer puppies.
