Was in contact with this breeder seems legit paid deposit got tracking information log into the safe courier logistics company then right before flight was supposed to takeoff with puppy they called and demanded $1200 a refundable insurance fee to ship the puppy . After that the person that I was dealing with got angry at me and told me that if it wasn’t paid by 2 PM the next day but I’d be charged a $5000 abandon me a finefor the dog I have now tried repeatedly to contact the breeder Tonya she will not return my text messages or phone calls and the company that is to ship the dog keeps hanging up on me... II was also told to try to stop payments which I I tried to have the payments stopped but my bank cannot dispute it until it comes out of my account I have not paid the $1200 to the shipping company because I got in contact with the police and they felt like it was a fraud

Basset puppy scam & fake delivery service

I paid Jackson Basset $800 for a basset puppy. I paid $250 for shipping. They said they would get ahold of their shipping company. Their shipping company is Global Air County. After the puppy was dropped off I was notified from them that I needed to pay $1500 (100% refundable) or the puppy would not be put on the plane and have to stay in quarantine for 2 months. I paid that. 2 hours later when I thought the puppy was on the plane. The shipping company called stating that the breeder dropped the puppy off in an unapproved shipping crate and I would have to buy or rent a air-conditioned shipping crate in order to catch the next departing plane. So I paid another $1000 (100% refundable) for the rental of one. Then I called the airport because I felt it was starting to look funny. The airport stated that Global Air County did not fly into that airport. So I looked up the shipping company to find that they were a scam. All the while Jackson Basset said there was nothing to worry about and that this was all due to covid-19 and everything would be fine. When the shipping company called again and I told them that I called the airport and they said they didn't service Global Air County and I thought they were a scam they hung up on me and every time after that the call would go to a unannounced answering service. I then stressed my concern to Jackson Basset and it took 8 hurs for them to respond. They stated that the shipping Business was extremely busy due to increased customer demand and the puppy would be delivered to my home address in the morning and the shipping company would contact me with the information. When I emailed Jackson Basset back in the morning. I asked why he didn't respond back sooner or call me since They had my number. They responded again that I have nothing to worry about and the shipping company would get a hold of me. And I had their word that I would receive my puppy. I emailed back that that was hard to believed because they stopped communicating with me. Jackson Basset has now quit communicating with me. Their phone number ended up being a bogus number. Thus Jackson Basset and Global Air County were working together to take $3550 off me with no puppy in the end. The scam I'm reporting
