This woman is advertising free puppies and then all of a sudden says she is in another state and we must pay shipping costs while saying we must arrange the flight ourselves because she does not know how. i texted her from two different numbers and she said a different location both times. She claims that they will only go to loving homes but the only question she asked me was if i could afford it. when i told her politely that this wouldn't work she accused me of being fake.

Puppy Scammer (Pomeranians; Yorkies)

Monetary Loss: $0
I reached out to a # posted online claiming to have puppies for sale. I first became suspicious when I noticed that they misspelled many English words in their text response and detailed that a family member of theirs was ill. This is apparently a recurrent theme.
I searched their phone # 386-444-2075 and found multiple aliases and posts from this # trying to scam people with "Leon and Lily" the Pomeranian puppies.
I found this link (2013): https://www.scamwarners.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=70623. It nearly perfectly transcribes my email from the scammer.

We contacted Mr. Anderson after finding the puppy we have wanted via dogfinder.com. We asked MANY questions via email and had a few red flags along the way. However, he agreed that no money would be paid until he had the puppy at the airline and we would pay the airline directly. Oddly, we received the confirmation email from the "airline" stating that payment must be made via Money Gram only. Mr. Anderson then began texting asking how quickly we would make payment AND the "airline" sent emails and text messages rapidly as well. I called the "airline" about payment and was given some BS story about "it is a new year and we are being under audition". Uuuhhmmm What? Red flag? He continued to tell me that "because of this, all of our accounts are closed and we can only accept Money Gram, so when will you be sending your money?"
The payment was ordered to go to an individual not an airline or company. When I asked how long it would take for the puppy to arrive once the payment was received, the gentleman refused to give me an estimate or a solid answer. He kept saying that he did not know yet and would tell me more in an email once he got the money. He continued to ask, "When will you be sending your money?"
I told him that I would be investigating this prior to sending the money and he said, that I need to quickly send the money so he can send the puppy.
A lady said she had an English Bulldog puppy that she couldn't keep that she needs to find it a good home and that it was free. But she said she lives in Maryland and she would pay half to ship the dog. It cost $280.00 to fly the dog to me so I paid $150.00 by Western Union because I didn't have a credit card. Then a man contact's me and says that the crate is in bad shape that I would have to get one that's approved for flight so I pay $380.00 for a crate which they say is refundable. Then the next day they want $500.00 for insurance on the dog so I tell them to just refund my money back that it's to much of a hassle for something that's supposed to be free and now no one will talk to me or respond back to me. And I have all of my receipts where I sent money.
Been looking for months for a lab puppy. Found this site "home Labradors" gave me this story that his wife had a baby so he's eager to get rid of the puppies. We e mailed back and forth for a week. Sent him money like an idiot. Then sent me to this "Express boarding pet carriers" to pay insurance on shipping the puppy. Found that , expressed boarding has been flagged for scams. Heart broken.
