Called For a position for UPS

I received a phone call from a person that goes by scott miller from NJ. I know that people from overseas have come over and changed their names to be more american due to the difficulty pronouncing their names. I was interested in the position and everything looked good. He sent me a form that I had to fill out and send back that consisted of information related to a background check. I looked over the form and it was not an authentic form. There was no company letterhead on the form and it just didn't seam right because anytime you put you full social on to a form on the Internet it usually stars out the numbers so they can't be used . I research the company of Pinnacle-technologies and there is an actual website but then digging deeper into the company I found everyone posting scam reports for the company. this needs to be shut down.

Employment scam

I received an email from "Adam" with Pinnacle Technology, recruiting for a UPS driver helper coordinator. A preliminary internet search for Pinnacle returned what seemed to be a legitimate website. I have experience working with UPS shipping software so I responded. After receiving a phone call this morning from "Adam", I became suspicious. Heavy mid-eastern accent, not usual for someone named "Adam Wilson".... :) He wanted to wait on the phone while I filled out the information sheet he had emailed to me, complete with SSN#, etc. I told him I was unable to fill this out right now and he would have to wait a couple hours. We ended our phone conversation and I immediately performed an internet search. It revealed several other complaints regarding the same type of scam. I replied to his email with a simple, "no thank you".

Scam Job Offer

I received a call from a phone ID "KACY".
A soft voiced woman, strong accent goes into great detail about a potential job with UPS. A technical role fitting for a field engineer. I was interested until the person stated the last piece of information she would require to begin the process. In a manner that felt like, she was trying to convince me before telling what she needed, she explained the systems at UPS are undergoing changes. In order to prevent re-hiring of fired employees they'll need my identity info. Address, SSN, etc... That's when I told her that process doesn't begin until after the interview. She tried explaining even further, at which point I wished her a good day and hung up.

I wanted to see if they tried contacting me before, so I searched my email. An email arrived yesterday. I remember I called the phone number given on that email (Didn't bother remembering the company name. now i do)... the phone just disconnects.
I called the phone number on the website 1-888-617-9730. SOMEONE PICKED UP, AND STAYED SILENT... so then, did I. The individual hung up moments later.
I googled that same number and found it labeled here too...

Something sooo scammy about this... it's a scam.
