I purchased a computer software 8 months ago. Later I'm called and told I will get a $100.00 refund due to the software being blocked and couldn't support me any longer. He used a screen share program to be on my computer so he could remove the software and do the refund. As he did the refund, it was $10,000.00 instead of $100.00. He needed that money back and used the excuse he'll be fired it I don't refund it. Had me to get the money from my bank and purchase gift cards which he took info over the phone. Said addition money was needed due to some of the gift card purchases didn't activate it so had to buy more. (Note: He showed to be logged into my bank acct and the refund showing in my acct..) After telling me about refunding me I checked my bank acct. on another computer and it didn't show the extra money being in it. He told me he had to mask it from the bank until after i refund the money to him. So it wasn't actually placed in my acct. although he showed me it was.

Two years ago I paid a company 300 for security. They called me a d told me that they had problems and would take down the security and refund me 199 dollars
I would have to give them control of my computer. They took down the securty and told me they needed me to open online access to my bank account to put the refund in there. I said keep the refund and give me back control of my computer I could not use my computer for 2 days. Last week they called me up about the refund. I told them that I was not giving control of my computer or bank account to anyone and to keep the money. He said it was my money and I should let them give it to me. I hung up. They are calling me everyday even after I told them to stop

Scammer wanted to refund me $999.99 for a internet security system that I supposedly purchased a year ago. Said the company was closing. Asked me to connect to his computer & type in my bank account numbers. I did not! I immediately shut off my PC & hung up the phone! He gave me a date of this proposed purchase. I was in the hospital on that date!
