Scammer!! First Home Is Fake!

Monetary Loss: $0
This guy, Malvin, claims to own a home in Raleigh NC but says he is in vegas for a while and wants to rent his house in Raleigh. The house is not his and ut is truly for rent through American Homes 4 Rent. I went to the house and saw the rental sign and told American Homes 4 Rent about the scam. They thanked me.
After I inquired about the rental property, I received a text message from a "Tamike Brooke":
Hello Stefan Slattery,
Home still available, For an appointment to visit home go here: goo.gl/EWVcGa
Fill out this short form & i'll call you to visit home real. No background credit check.
I immediately flagged the shortened URL that they wanted you to go to and I started researching the contact information and came across multiple complaints.
We found a listing on Craigslist a house for rent in Battlefield, MO for 800 rent and 1500 deposit. He said he lives in another state and asked us to wire him the money and then he will send the keys. We called him and he had a thick foreign accent, said we didn't have to worry because he definitely owns the house. We searched the address online and found the house for sale on Zillow. When we called the number provided on Zillow, we got in contact with the real owner who said he was already dealing with this scammer. I think the listing needs to be removed immediately and this person needs to have their phone number & email shut down so that nobody is scammed out of their hard earned money.
I am relocating from Oklahoma to Washington . I searched for rentals via internet, landed on rentals listed on Craigslist, inquired about listed house for rent. Was contacted by email from who I believed was the owner. After several communications with this person, I sent over $2000 to secure deposit and firstontha rent on this house and days later find out it was all a scam. I have 4 children and tomorrow I will be homeless. I have noore $ and I have no family to stay with, I don't know what to do
I would rather die than force my kids to live in a shelter...
So...I was looking for a room and these people happen to be professionals because they had me hooked with the price, ultilities, and the place was beautiful. Now, I wasn't able to enter to room yet because they were on vacation, everything seemed legit because I searched then had their number and seemed like kind people. Young people make mistakes ya know. Thankfully I was renting a room with a friend and he was living in another state and he went to go check where they live, so happen they were in that state. We found out and cancelled my order through Western Union and got my money back, but some may not be as lucky as me. Be careful out there. I don't want to show much, but please trust me.
