Ken Flores is contacting people trying to rent property that is not his own. He must be getting names from places like Craigslist, Zillow, Facebook, etc. He calls people from 860-381-0277 and he also uses email [email protected].

BEWARE of this imposter as he is out to get money from you! Here's the email he sent me...

Thanks so much for getting back to me regards to my available home for rent, I am looking for a responsible tenant that can rent and take very good care of my home and treat as own for me as soon as possible he/she move in.

My family and i are currently out of the state for Navy military work here on Lindsay, California. Before we left the state, We searched for a God fearing person or a reputable agent to handle the property and help us walk interested people through to have a proper viewing of the inside but we couldn't get anyone then. because they where are putting a large sum of money in my home and i said i want to handle this myself, So we left with the keys, remote and the house documents. I'm willing to rent out our home to a good tenant and we can work things out based on trust and honest as one family. You can ask any question regarding my home.

This person attempted to rent a home out that did not belong to them. They said that they were on a missionary trip and for me to only work with them to rent the home. They attempted to get $1200 for 1st months rent and deposit. When exposed they threatened me.

Was looking for an apartment and found one looked perfect. But turns out they don't own place. Asked for first month and security 1600$ so sent and should have known.

We found a rental on Craigslist we were very cautious, we went to look at the property, we talked to the neighbors whom told us it is a state owned property for low income families. While we were talking to the neighbors about it being a scam cuz Strasser was trying to get us to send them $500 . a car pulled up and another couple were in the same situation as us with Strasser, which I'm sure is a fake name. We called and talked to them a couple times. It sounded like a older Samoan lady.we have email from them as well. It's definitely a hoax!

I was looking up houses for rent on Craigslist and I noticed a 3 bedroom house for rent for only $730. I couldn't believe it. I responded to the add and the person emailed me back and was stating that he was in West Africa on a Missionary trip and needed a good person to take care of their house with rent only being $730 including utilities. It sounded kinda funny especially when he wanted me to send him the money and he will send me the keys and documents within 24 hours. I didn't do it but thought people should know.

I gave Peter 210 dollars for a application he gave me a receipt for that then he wanted the 500 deposit so I gave it to him he gave me a key to the house and the gate code was not right so now he want answer his phone cause its off. I am pregnant and have a 4 year old son. Can you please help me.
