Respected Sir/Madam , My Name is Satheesh . We paid 750 dollars for this home warranty . Every time when we call for a service , they never respond or give us a fake contract number , last one year we called for couple of services , like microwave , dishwasher , they will talk like very nicely , they will send a email saying that they are going to send a tech . But never send anyone or never done any service .

Failure to help nthe nor warranty aggrement

Select Home Warranty will not honor the contract agreement that was agreed on. Our furnace have a bad gas valve that SHW technician tested and requested a replacement. This process began on December 18, 2018 but the valve was not identified until three weeks ago and our funrnace is yet is disrepair. I have made more than twenty calls to the claims department. We have supplied pictures and documented receipts of yearly service maintenance for the past five (5) years by a certified ac/ heating company as requested by SHW. We have given them all that was requested of us. Claims representatives and supervisors all state that our claim is in review and we should get results in 24-48 hours. I have heard this statement for the past three weeks and we are not getting anywhere. We feel like we are getting the run-around. Our house has been very cold and my wife and I are struggling to keep warm. Our contract states “6.3.3 Heating System-This aggrement covers all module, components and parts of the heating system necessary to the functionality of the heating system.” My wife and I have been very patient and tried numerous times to work with this company. We feel that we now need external assistance with this matter. The part that is needed is a gas valve.
The repair technician that works for SHW is waiting for approval from this company to order and install this part. It is beyond my wife and I why this company will not obtain and replace this part that is under contract and covered as part of the heating system. We are reaching for out the FTC to help us with this matter.
I was sold a home warranty by select home warranties when it came time for me to have my furnace fixed at the estimated cost of $3,616 I was told by the company that they were only going to approve me for $150 the reason they stated was because I didn't have service records from three years prior of which when they sold me this policy the salesperson neglected to tell me that I had to have service records for all of my Appliance for 3 years prior in addition they neglected to send me a copy of the contract until after they had already taken the money out of my account now I have no protection on any of my appliances and I'm out an entire year money for the protection that I no longer have I would have never purchased this protection had I known that I had to have three years of service service records that I knew I didn't have I feel like I have been scammed and they are not willing to work with me at all I want my money back or I want protection for all of my appliances
I purchased the platinum Care plan and paid up front and received two extra months in December 2018. My first call on 22 April for my hot water heater not working and as of today I still have not received service for this and I asked them if they cannot provide service fine, just return my money so that I may find someone myself and they have continued to not do nothing, it’s been ten days and I would like to just get this resolved.
