Monetary Loss: $39.99
Got a msg to answer 4 questions a survey an then pay a $1 to get a subscription for 3 days an a new iPad an I haven't got anymore information it's a scam
I received a text message from (915)272-5167 with the following message: "Platinum deal! VZ_wireless Verif. #VZ6758 you_won_the $672 VZ_wireless grand_giftaway! Act now_https://bit.ly/3wFrTlv stop2optout" After I clicked the link embeded in the message, I was asked to take a survey for Verizon VZ. I was told that if I participated I would receive an I-Pad Pro. After calling the customer service number 877-665-6699 I was told that I jad actually enetered a "chance" to win a drawing for an I-Pad Pro. I asked to have my money refunded and they hung up on me.
I was told that I had won an iPad for one dollar after taking a four question survey. The iPad will be delivered within five days. That has never happened and I called to complain and the representative said it was just for an entry for the iPad. They totally switch your words around and make you think that you made a mistake when in actuality they are scamming you. I told them that I was gonna call my credit card company and get my money back and disallow them from ever using anything to get money from me.
