Got a call saying my s s # has illegal major problems and I should call 4843248968 but I did not call what do you think?
I was called and was told to call another number as my social security alerted as being fraudulently misused. I called the number and the noise in the back ground sounded like many operators on the phone. Person never identified himself. He asked me “ is this then said my full first and last name and address. Once I said yes. He said “Yes, I am calling you because your social security number has been flagged as being misused several times which we feel are fraud charges”. He then said, “has the police dept been in contact tact with you”? I said no. He then asked for my social and date of birth. I refused and said I would call the police and investigate further. He replied “ you do that “ and ended call.
Received call with male voice stating there is suspected fraudulent activity with my social security number. Failure to contact will result in "cops arresting you". When you return you will need the last four of you SSN..... Number above female answers Social Security. I ask her this is who and she hung up on me.
