Someone called and I asked to speak to supervisor. Upon getting the individual on the phone he stated that his name was Brandon Taylor and that my social security number was implicated in to Money Laudering, murder, and drugs down in the State of Texas. They would be cancelling my Social Security Number and would be issuing me a new number. (WHOA) The conversation did not go any further because I hung the phone up and called the 1 800 772 1213. I was informed by a worker to go on line and report the conversation.

An individual claiming to be from the Social Security Inspection Office requested personal information to include my social security number. Provided a suspicious backstory that my accounts were about to be frozen. Caller identified himself as Officer Donald E. Jefferson, badge # ***, and spoke with heavy Indian accent. I informed him that I would have to verify his identity and then proceeded to phone my local Social Security office. The local representative confirmed this was a scam.

I received a recorded message from the above number at 1:45pm today, stating the Social Security Administration has detected fraud activity under my Social Security Number and my benefits will be suspended. Wanted me to dial #1 to reach a representative. I hung up. Also received the same recording 2 days ago. These calls are coming to my cell phone.

I recieved a fake call from "social security"

I received a phone call from the "social security department" telling me my social security number has been involved in suspicious activity and had been flagged for suspension. My SSN would be put on hold and or canceled and I would be arrested if I did not call thrm back. I called back and a man with a heavy accent tried to get me to give him my SSN and full name, date of birth and address. When I refused the "Agent" told me I was to be arrested and got extremely rude and irate. I called back again and the same man answered. This is a scam, I'm worried people will give their SSNs to this guy and lose their identity.
