Like many others, I was sent a message they were looking for a Whole Foods Market store Evaluator. Said they were sending USPS. I received a letter parcel by Priority Mail with a fake cashier's check from Family Security Credit Union for 2,950.52 and a poorly written black and white photocopy titled Customer Service Evaluation Tool (CSET). The return address was listed as Multirro Holdings LLC, 140 Laguna St, San Francisco, CA. The amount shown on the cashier's check was not displayed correctly. If not caught by the consumer, this should be a red flag to a bank teller.

Scam by Store Evaluation

Monetary Loss: $0
I received a Priority Mail package including a cashier's check for $2950.52 and a Customer Service Evaluation Tool instruction sheet. I researched reviews and found many reports stating this is a scam. I did not solicit this which made me suspicious from the very beginning.
Contacted via email to be customer service evaluator. Sent co for $$2,950.52 to shop with , supposedly earning $450.00 for job. Bonus offered if done within 12 hours. Poorly made copy of bank draft drawn on South Metro Federal Credit Union. Checked names, address', and phone number to confirm they were real. They are false! Called bank to verify and report the falsified check!
Today received a "PRIORITY MAIL" with s $2,950.00 CASHIER CHECK. (this was my 1st clue). now I am getting a text. I did sign up for a secret shopper project a month ago. after reading I feel blessed not to deposit this check.
Received a cashier check in the amount of $2950.52 on South Metro Federal Credit Union. The check is a photo copy except for my name - the print is faded from too many copies or from being washed out. The sheet of paper for instructions is a bad copy as well. I've done mystery shopping before, this one is wanting me to purchase Nike GiftCards in the amount of $2500 - nothing to do with purchasing actual product and evaluating customer service. But if I complete the purchase within 12 hours, I can have a bonus of $250 and within 24 hours $150. I did not text the information as requested in the insturctions.
I received an email regarding a Whole Foods Secret Shopper opportunity. I filled out some basic information and a couple of weeks later was contacted via text stating that there were opportunities in my area to be "evaluated". I texted back that I would participate, they then sent a follow up text about a week later that a package was sent, and that I should confirm back that the package was received. I did receive the USPS Priority Mail envelope, and inside a check for $2950.52. They wanted me to buy $2500 in gift cards, which was completely a red flag. This was not a secret shopper activity. Check was torn up, and numbers blocked.
