I received a text from North Carolina asking if I was still there. I replied with yes who is this? They then said I got a code from 22-000 and I should give it to them, to prove I'm not a bot.. I received a text, from the above given number, stating that they had found a water deposit refund for $38.48 in LA in my name. Reply 222 for more info. Reply "STOP" to OPT OUT. Curious, I replied "222". Then I received the following text from the same number:"We have [located] the following amounts in your name:
search.sendassets5.info/55ac1." Since the web address & really the entire text seemed fishy, I had #ScamExperts check it out. They said they investigated it and that it was a scam, and I should report it here, if I wanted to help warn the public about it.
