I ordered an online vehicle history on vincheckup.com for a 2011 Dodge charger which came out blank. After calling the helpline for the website operator kept forwarding me to technical dept which always ended up in voicemail. This website is a scam. I wasted my money

Similar to others, I posted a motorcycle for sale. Carol Neill replied with some interest and asked if I had a history report. I sent an official on NMVTIS database. She replied that she has had bad luck with that type of report and that can I please send one from http://bikevinusa.com/. The URL resolves to http://www.vincheckup.com

Craigslist VIN Check Scam

I was contacted by a potential buyer (Joan McGovern) for my motorcycle via craigslist. She asked questions about history of bike back and forth emails. She requested I purchase a report from usvincheckup.com and if the report came back to her satisfaction we would meet up to move forward with purchase. This is exactly the same scam many others have reported. It's only to get you to purchase a scam report and steal your info. Gave me [email protected] when pushed for an email address. Total Fraud

Scams people to use there site & they will buy your car/motorcycle

Scammers will respond to your ad asking questions then asking you to run a history report on your vehicle for sale.
The site usvincheckup DOT com was registered on December 13th of 2017 to a double blind registrar with legal domicile in the Bahamas, most likely country of origin is in the Balkans or North Africa.

The site asks for information to produce a history report on vehicles, it does not collect any of this information and takes the user directly to a page where it requests credit card information. The credit card is charged and the card information sold on to other internet fraudsters.

I was contacted by a potential buyer (Gregory Harris) for my motorcycle via craigslist. He provided specific feedback regarding back and forth emails. He requested I purchase a report from vincheckup.com and if the report came back to his satisfaction we would meet up to move forward with purchase. Once the report was purchased and forwarded, he thanked me for the report and said that we would be getting together in the next few days. I haven't heard back since.

Selling a motorcycle on Craigslist and got an email from "Jeff Florence" using the Craigslist relay email. The way he wrote was just odd so you could tell it was scammy from the get go. But he did respond and even answered customized questions. He wanted me to go to vincheckup.com to get a report for it. I didn't do it.
