Just received a bill from Web Host Agents telling us to pay $180.00 due by 8/22/17. It definitely looks like a bill rather than solicited mail asking for our business. A quick glance at it by our AP department got in our to-be-paid invoices stack. Thank goodness I looked at it and stopped them from cutting a check! Our website provider is Go Daddy so I knew we have no affiliation with this company. The way they are doing this is very shady and these types of letters should stop being sent to businesses.

I got what appeared to be a bill from this company. It included a box that you could pay by Credit Card, VISA, Am Ex, Discover, Master card, etc. It stated, "Please make checks payable to Web Host Agents. Our Webmaster notified me that this was a scam, therefore I have not paid this"bill."
Letter says "Amount Due" & the due date is in bold letters... In the body of the letter it covertly admits that it is a solicitation & not a bill, but it obviously hopes to get through book keeping as a bill to be paid.
They sent a invoice / Bill like document asking for payment of $180 for hosting my website. It was made to look like a bill I have to pay to avoid loosing my website. Definitely aimed to deceive the less informed. Please apprehend the perpetrators of this scam and have Justice dealt them.
