They called me on a recorded line and asked if I could hear them okay and I said no and they hung up on me because it was prerecorded and I was supposed to say yes. I've been called numerous times by the same people but at various numbers. I saw somewhere in the news that this was a way for people to get scammed and I don't want that to happen to me.

I received a phonecall two days ago from a man called James claiming to be from the 3D modelling company. He told me about a studio near Shoreditch where a professional photographer would take my pictures. He then proceeded to say that there would be a “small charge of £50 to get my portfolio started”.
I told him I would need to think about it and he stated that there was a rush as the last session in December. After further investigation online I found that the real agency is operated in Cape Town and do not do any modelling jobs outside of Cape Town.
Luckily I didn’t give him any money but I’m making this report so others don’t fall for this complete joke called James.
Be cautious and don’t give payment information over the phone!

First one female Arabic woman called asked me to follow in structions to receive my grants money.
"And no mam' you do knot have to pay it back..!"
Giving my a number to call with a code and that code would clear to the manager that I was one of the lucky picks. He would then give me instructions on what I must do next.
So I give it a go and he tells me all I have to do is go up to the store and buy a money card and pay for the $250.00 transfer to the account.
"But mam' you will get it all back as soon as we are able to make to wired transaction..!"
I questioned too much on why I needed to do that and explained that in America we don't receive grants in the fashion they were trying to pull .... He got upset because I asked too many questions and he refused to really answer, eventually hung up on me.

(2nd) Male called, Arabic, telling me he was the government and my number was chosen for a special grant opportunity. He proceeded to tell me I didn't have to pay for anything and all I had to do was answer the 10 or so questions.
"Now for question number one, you are going to say these three subjects for your intrest.?! For questions two you're going to answer yes to going to online school and campus based school..? Ok mam'... Please listen to wat I tell you mam' because after I talk with you your going to get transferd to my (jiberish), an he's going to ask you all deez questions and so that you qualify you must answer as I say, ok mam'..? Ok thank you! ...."
Get to question 5 and 6
"Now mam' do you understand you're not garenteed nothing, yes mam' is that right? Ok mam'. And you agree that I dit knot leed you on to say the answers, right mam'?!? No! Ok so, you say dat when I transfer you ok mam'..?!?! Yes?!? Ok! Now mam' are you sure you understand because your answer like 'yeeeeaaa?!, mmmaaybee?!, surrrrre?!'...?"
"No I totally get it, I just don't see why I have to do that.... You should already have me on file and no need to ask me these questions.... So that you can pay me a grant by mail and I don't have to pay anything, yet I'm on the phone with you because what do you need..?...hello..?"
Click (hung up on me)
(3rd) make, Arabic tried to start the spew off and I cut him off and said yes but I got to follow the questions you tell me... He just sighed and hung up on me...
