SELLERS MISREPRESENTING ITEMS

I have purchased several items from 2 particular sellers. Up until recently what I've ordered I've received. In the last couple of months, everything I'm receiving from both sellers has not been what was ordered. Sending smaller sizes (mm) than advertised, bracelets instead of Anklets, etc. TOPHATTER has now decided that the buyers are responsible for paying return postage for the mistakes that sellers make (sending wrong items) instead of sellers being held responsible for paying the return postage for their mistakes. In some instances, it can cost 1/2 the price of an item to return at buyers cost when the buyer had already paid for the item ordered, including shipping, and receives the wrong item in its place. LIKE SOMEONE ELSE STATED HERE - TOPHATTER COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE BUYER - THEY COVER THEIR BIG SELLERS BY MAKING BUYERS PAY ADD'L SHIPPING COSTS TO RETURN THE WRONG ITEMS SENT BY THE SELLERS. NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT TOPHATTER IS ALSO IGNORING QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS PRACTICE BY NOT RESPONDING TO MESSAGES SENT ON THEIR SITE AS WELL AS EMAIL.

Never receiving items/Buyer protection scam buy tophatter

I bought several hundreds of dollars in items (which I won in auctions ) on items that they didn't even have in the warehouse , but yet , were still auctioning off at $35 plus dollars a pop , and sending a Chinese scarf because they didn't really have the item I paid for (if it was a junk item it made it ) if it was a tablet / android box / or any electronic (adult device) it was sent to some one in flordia/ or any other state (but not to me , my address was where every item was to be sent to/ nowhere else) then I had the undeliverable message sent to me and item was sent back .yet the post office found no such item out for delivering nor was the tracking number at all in any system. They use buyer protection to pay back (IF they refund your money) for items they didn't have in their possession, to begin with, and how do you auction off items you do not even have??
Nonetheless if it stated delivered whather or not you got it you didn't get refunded at all !! I'm contacting international internet scams (IC3 decision for them to be shut down)

DECEPTION AND TRAFFICKING COUNTERFEIT ITEMS

As both a seller and a buyer I am very aware of this site's practices.
As a seller, we can make up and inflate any retail price we so desire to falsely show the "great discount" buyers are getting.
As a buyer, I received a counterfeit US Silver dollar. Bogus Coins of value from China has flooded the world with "fakes."
I returned the coin and got my money back. I did not mention it was bogus till I got my refund. I reported the seller's name. Nothing was done. As long as the seller is a high volume seller and Tophatter makes money, they don't aggressively act. Rare coins are hard to come by. When a seller sells rare coins at a fraction n of it normal value and seller states they have plenty more this is a 'red flag' that something is wrong. Very wrong. I still see some bogus coins on Tophatter's site, but the seller has changed his name. As long as the money rolls in, Tophatter is content. "BUYER BEWARE, AS YOU ARE GETTING EITHER JUNK OR BOGUS Item."

Tophatter is an online auction site. Everything I ordered was junk. But the above took the cake. not worth the shipping of $5.00 and no way to contact them. Please tell others NOT to get hooked on the bidding because nothing is worth the money. Not even close.
