Severe infection from jewellery

I won an auction for two Stirling silver rings. After wearing them for a short time my finger became so infected by whatever material used in the rings, the skin is badly marked.
They were certainly not what they were advertised as.

I also won an auction for a necklace and matching earrings which were advertised as topaz and white gold. My ears became infected so these items also were not white gold at all.

I am unable to complain to tophatter as there is no place to complain to. I click on contact us and all it does is takes me to my past orders

I have purchased several items from 2 particular sellers. Up until recently what I've ordered I've received. In the last couple of months, everything I'm receiving from both sellers has not been what was ordered. Sending smaller sizes (mm) than advertised, bracelets instead of Anklets, etc. TOPHATTER has now decided that the buyers are responsible for paying return postage for the mistakes that sellers make (sending wrong items) instead of sellers being held responsible for paying the return postage for their mistakes. In some instances, it can cost 1/2 the price of an item to return at buyers cost when the buyer had already paid for the item ordered, including shipping, and receives the wrong item in its place. LIKE SOMEONE ELSE STATED HERE - TOPHATTER COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE BUYER - THEY COVER THEIR BIG SELLERS BY MAKING BUYERS PAY ADD'L SHIPPING COSTS TO RETURN THE WRONG ITEMS SENT BY THE SELLERS. NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT TOPHATTER IS ALSO IGNORING QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS PRACTICE BY NOT RESPONDING TO MESSAGES SENT ON THEIR SITE AS WELL AS EMAIL.
