Dell Scam---again

I was just called by this number again. I looked up this number after my first call a few days ago and saw that is a commonly reported scam number from "Dell". Their "concierge" website looks official but it is not. I just told them to stop calling and that I know this is a scam so I hope they'll give up. I changed the number in my phone to "SCAMMING A$$HOLES" so I will remember for next time. Dell will NEVER EVER EVER EVER call for an unsolicited tech support issue.

Annoying phone calls from Dell Support

I purchased a Dell computer almost 3 years ago and returned it to the vendor where I purchased it after about 2 weeks of fighting with it and Dell Support. For the past 3 years, I get at least 3 phone calls per week from Dell Tech Support wanting me to turn the computer on so they can take control and "fix" a problem. They don't seem to understand that I no longer own that piece of garbage. I had one "rep" tell me his name is Ethan Hunt! LOL... Google it!

Replacement Computer

Got a call from this number about 2 months after calling Dell Tech support and not getting anywhere. I was told I have several functions that are not running and causing lots of problems on my computer. They tried to get access to my computer by having me run dell.usa.cc but I refused so he offered to show me all of the errors I am getting. He directed me to open up a system check that showed 6381 errors, but I noticed these date back to the first time using the computer- so I asked him why I shouldn't just get a refund for a computer that has been giving me errors since day 1.
They offered to swap my computer for a new one if I paid a "deposit" of $200 which would be refunded once I ship back my old computer (after receiving my new one). I let them transfer me to a "senior manager" and had similar discussions before saying thanks, not interested and hung up.

Dell Scam

They claim to be Dell Support. They are not. They claimed to know that I had submitted some kind of help desk ticket and said they urgently needed to remote in and take control of my computer to fix critical problems.
I don't even own a Dell. Nice try. When I told them this, they hung up. This has happened from several numbers, several times, for several years. It would be funny if it weren't so annoying.

at 4:30 PM EST i received a call stating they are from Dell support and would like to trouble shoot on my issue logged in with Dell. When i asked SR # . I asked to provide Dell email ID and employee number or reference to previous call discussion or support member name they were not able to provide correct details. How ever they were aware that i have logged a service request with Dell. Also there english speaking was not proper. They took remote session using "dell.us.cc" using internet explorer and executed commands . Not sure if they injected any spam, or trojan to capture my data or details.
